One day, a couple of young kids living in Los Angeles decide that they want to see “the river”. The film follows these two innocent characters on their journey through unfamiliar surroundings, like an urban road movie but escaping all industry standards. This genuine film was shot in black-and-white 16mm, and its images depict a warm and personal understanding of reality.
Essential indie director Alexandre Rockwell earned the Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize in 1992 for his acclaimed film In The Soup, starring Steve Buscemi. In Little Feet, Rockwell’s own children are the stars of this quixotic childhood adventure that brings the audience back to the basics of indie filmmaking. Little Feet won the Special Jury Prize at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata.
