Elena decides to hide out in New Mexico after a freak accident. There, she runs into Jessica, a friend from high school. As the two girls catch up, a stalker who has been chasing Elena for a few days suddenly turns up. The two friends will have to seek help from beyond the grave to get rid of him, for good.
Jethica is one of the most ingenious and low-cost features of this year’s edition. Pete Ohs, editor of Beast Beast (Americana 2021), presented this fantasy film at the SXSW festival, making him one of the boldest filmmakers of today’s underground scene. Fearless and unrestrained, Jethica is a film that will not go unnoticed.
