Robert, a high school student living an uneventful and normal life with his parents, harbors a passion for drawing cartoons. Following a conversation with a teacher urging authenticity, Robert’s world takes a turn when the professor dies suddenly, prompting him to leave home and pursue his dream. However, renting an illegal shared boiler room apartment and encountering Wallace, an unstable man who used to work in the cartoon industry, turn Robert’s journey into a challenging adventure.


Newcomer filmmaker Owen Kline, with an underground aesthetic reminiscent of comics, has captured the attention of audiences and festivals worldwide. The film was showcased at the Directors’ Fortnight and the Gijon Film Festival, and earned a nomination at the Independent Spirit Awards.
