Dual

Sarah is diagnosticated with a strange fatal illness and has just a few months to live. To replace her and ease her loss on her relatives, she decides to pay for a clone that will take over her life when she is gone. But when Sarah recovers, she has to live with her clone longer than she had expected. Obviously, problems ensue.

After his two previous films, Faults and The Art of Self-Defense, Riley Stearns returns to Americana with a movie that combines science fiction, his crazy, surreal sense of humor, and cold physical and emotional violence. The resulting film, which received great reviews at Sundance, is surprising all the way to the punchy ending.
