At the end of the 90s, eight-year-old Sasha and her family are moving once more. This new life will be affected by the increasingly dangerous behavior of Jeremy, the eldest son. Overwhelmed, they reluctantly accept the intervention of social services, all under the watchful eye of the little girl.
Prolific short-film director Sophy Romvari makes her feature debut with this mysterious film, that observes and insinuates. With a script both subtle and forceful, revealing the fragility of memory and the clarity of the emotions it produces, Romvari grips the audience, forcing them to piece together a puzzle of implied pain. The film has screened at numerous festivals, including San Sebastian, Locarno, and Toronto, earning high honors at the latter two.
