Western

The third feature-length documentary by the Ross brothers is an intimate portrait of two neighboring towns located on either side of the Texas-Mexico border. Although they have lived in peace for a long time, the communities of Eagle Pass (Texas) and Piedras Negras (Mexico) are increasingly threatened by drug cartel violence. With lyrical imagery and immersive observations of the daily lives of the townspeople, it offers a compassionate account of the human cost of violence.
