Joel Potrykus, a familiar face at Americana for films like Buzzard and Relaxer, returns to the festival lineup with Vulcanizadora. Starring Potrykus himself alongside his longtime collaborator Joshua Burge, the film follows Marty and Derek as they set out on a journey through a Michigan forest. What begins as an ill-planned and reluctant excursion takes an unexpected turn when the true purpose of their trip is revealed.
