The Heart Machine

Cody lives in New York and keeps a long distance relationship through Skype with his girlfriend Virginia, who’s studying in Berlin. As the days go by, Cody starts suspecting that Virginia has something to hide, and that she is actually living in New York as well. Driven by his doubts and a growing obsession, Cody puts aside the virtual world for a moment and sets to investigate what is going on in real life.

After directing several short films, The Heart Machine is the feature length debut for young NY director Zachary Wigon, a graduate from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts film school. Wigon is also a film critic, and has written reviews at The Village Voice and the Tribeca Film Festival. In 2007, he founded the Tisch Film Review, NYU’s first film studies publication.
